The New York State Police needs your help in locating the family of the man accused of defrauding Facebook. Authorities released the pictures of Iasia Ceglia, and her two sons Leeman and Joseffinn. They were reported missing on March 10th. It is unknown if they are or have been in the company of Paul Ceglia who is wanted by the US Marshals Service.
Iasia is approximately 5'7" tall, weighs approximately 150 pounds, with brown hair, and hazel eyes. Both male sons were last known to have dark hair, height and weight is unknown. The individuals were reported missing by family members who are concerned about their welfare.
Paul Ceglia was awaiting trial for allegedly creating a "multi-billion-dollar scheme" to defraud Facebook. Ceglia was released on bail and ordered to wear an ankle bracelet. Ceglia removed the ankle bracelet and fled his residence in Wellsville, New York.
If you have any information about the where Paul or the Ceglia family are located, call US Marshals at 1-877-WANTED-2

I have a general rule now that I will in general put breaking news known kidnapper cases in the missing section. However, right now Ceglia's fugitive status and his family's disappearance are separate incidents and he hasn't been charged with kidnapping yet. Obviously it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out though that it's possible they're with him.

It's being speculated that Ceglia may be in Ireland.
Also, new details are coming out about how Ceglia escaped custody while under house arrest.
He attached his GPS-equipped house arrest bracelet to a budget rube goldberg contraption to give the appearance that he was moving around the house.
In all honesty, I think we're giving Ceglia a little too much credit here. Kayla LaSala, a 14-year old girl, attached a GPS to her cat and fooled authorities. Chris Ponce cut his ankle bracelet off during a scheduled doctor appointment today and managed to get out in enough time. I'm not saying Ceglia's not a smart guy. He obviously is. But I think the fact he was able to trick his way to becoming a fugitive says more about the fact that these GPS devices are often useless as opposed to his smarts. It's why it drives me nuts when guys accused of serious felonies get one. Ceglia may have only been accused of fraud, but it was in a high-profile case and the fact he had that monitor and wasn't out on bail proves he was in fact not entirely trusted.
2. If they really wanted to deny Ceglia's civil rights, bond would have been revoked. He wouldn't have had an ankle bracelet. For an already convicted felon accused of defrauding the largest social media company in the world, I'd call letting him out on any sort of bond even with an ankle bracelet incredibly trustworthy.
3. Let's assume for argument's sake- Ceglia is innocent in this case. It doesn't give him the right to take his entire family with him- if they're with him. If they are with Ceglia as suspected, it means he's uprooted his wife from her friends and family and his children from their friends, family, and school because of HIS case. Not only has he chose not to defend himself in court, but in addition he's dragging other people down with him. I'm going to be honest, I normally care more about catching rapists and murderers than a fraud suspect. While not condoning anything, I have a list of priorities. But now Ceglia has possibly chose to involve his family, and personally that makes me worry about them.
Let's admit it, con artist or not, Ceglia is a very intelligent and cunning fugitive. Perhaps one of the most intelligent breaking news fugitives on this forum that we've come across. It is the reason, in my opinion, people are being conned into supporting him.

Ceglia will be profiled on this Thursday's episode of CNBC's "American Greed" at 10 PM ET/PT. (On the same episode as fellow fraud fugitive Bobby Khan). As a result, I will move this case to the fugitives on tv section.

Also an article is out about the search for Ceglia,
Everyone but his defense attorneys, who suggest the Ceglia families could have been the victims of foul play (I know they have to defend him but that theory makes absolutely no sense to me- while anyone can cut off an ankle monitor somehow- Ceglia invented a contraption and then made it look like he was still in the house- I think he's the only guy with the brains to do that)- seem to think he's in Ireland. (Ceglia has dual U.S.-Irish citizenship)
The prosecutor mentions the U.S. has an extradition treaty with Ireland- but it is rarely enforced.

Paul Ceglia has came out of hiding to send a bunch of e-mails to Bloomberg media claiming that he went on the run because he was receiving death threats. He also said "alive on well on the air from Cincinnati" (a reference to the classic sitcom WKRP: in Cincinnati probably) then hinted that he was far from U.S. soil.
I assume he must have used some sort of encryption to not have his location traced, he's obviously internet savvy, but the fact that he said "far from U.S. soil to be sure" makes it sound to me like he might just be saying that to throw people off. Logic would say he fled to Ireland, but still.
I am actually more concerned about his children than before, because in my opinion his claims of death threats- he's either lying to try to manipulate people into believing him or has become even more paranoid while on the run- he's admittedly a brilliant guy- but often those with high IQ's are the ones whose mental states go haywire first. It's a safety concern if it's the latter and this isn't just some sort of game he's playing with the police/media.
Update: Paul Ceglia's two children have been recovered! There is no word on of Paul and/or his wife Isaia have been located as well though.
The confirmation was in an official email from the NCMEC sent to a Websleuths member and I'll post the link below. While not excusing Ceglia's alleged actions, my main concern was the safety of his children so I'm glad they're safe and I hope Isaia is safe as well.

P.S. I find it ironic Ceglia, a fugitive accused of defrauding Facebook, was captured in Ecuador since Julian Assange, the Wikileaks founder, is currently under political asylum in the Ecuadorian assembly in London (although that may end soon according to articles)
