On April 8, 1981, the body of an unidentified female was located in a small drainage wash 3.7 miles south of the intersection of Interstate 10 and Houghton Road in Tucson, Arizona. It is believed the victim had been deceased for approximately two days prior to the discovery of her body. She had straight, light brown/blond hair, approximately 12 inches long. She was found wearing a navy blue blouse with floral puff sleeves (“Chain Reaction” brand, shown above), blue denim jeans (“IHS” brand, size 3), white ankle socks with pink pom-poms attached, and brown lace up suede shoes (shown above). Also found was a blue denim jacket (“Oops California” brand, shown above) with red and white stripes on the collar, waist and cuffs. She had a white spot on her front tooth that may have been noticeable to those individuals who knew her. The reconstruction featured above is an artist’s rendering of what the unidentified female may have looked like.
The above is a description of this Jane Doe case but the real reason I'm posting is because there is a major update that has stretched all the way to Massachusetts.
The Chelmsford, Massachusets police department is trying to identify the woman in a photo I will post below.
Chelmsford police said convicted murderer Jack Kalhauser was recently found with the woman’s picture, though he would not tell officers who the photograph is of. Kalhauser is a suspect in this case, and the picture is said to resemble the Pima County Jane Doe.
So readers, please take a good look below. This is an extremely solvable case despite the victim being a Jane Doe along with the passage of time. We have a suspect. We have a photo. All we need to do is identify the young woman in the photo and it should break the case wide open.
Admin Note #1: Pima County Jane Doe has now been identified as former Chelmsford, Massachusetts resident Brenda Marie Gerow. According to online articles, if you have any information on this case, you are asked to call Chelmsford police Lt. John Roark at (978) 256-2521.
Admin Note: #2 For tips, please still contact Chelmsford Police. If you have any other (non-tip related) updated information on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form
