I wonder if fox will air Acosta on AMW cause this kid has been out there for too long There are only six episodes for this season- while I hope he’s on the short list we can’t expect AMW to air every case on this forum unfortunately. I agree he should get consideration.

Given that he was charged with three counts of capital murder he doesn't face the death penalty or life in prison without parole due to the miller vs Alabama for new sentences of lwop however he does face consecutive life sentences with a parole eligibility after 40 years so given that the sentence would probably be around over a 120 years one good thing bush did as governor of Texas by is enhance the sentencing guidelines for minors that commit horrific ghastly like this can receive the fullest harshest sentence when Acosta is captured and will be held accountable

This little monster is probably traveling between Texas and Mexico that's the only way I can see him being on the run this long

I hope they throw the book at him and don’t treat him as a juvenile but an adult once he’s caught.

Just want to post here that tonight’s episode stated Acosta’s family may have a ranch near Llanos De Bustos, Veracruz, Mexico. He may also have family ties to Acapulco and Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.

Well if his family has money he could be protected by his family who could have police connections in Veracruz or Juarez or Acapulco or even more disturbing possiblity is he could have joined a cartel it would make sense he is accused of a brutal triple homicide that left three innocent teens at a busy gas station and injuring several others in one of the most populous suburbs of Dallas Garland he definitely reminds me of Edward salas both were young accused killers both fled South of the border and both have a propensity for horrific violence I'm starting to believe he could have become a hitman or enforcer for the cartels it's just a theory after all we only have his accomplice his father who at least was convicted and is serving a lwop sentence in a Texas prison for capital murder obviously he knows where his son is but I find Richard Acosta is just a guilty as his son hopefully his son will join him in prison one thing George w Bush did was lower the age that can be tried as adults at least he Did that right because this case is just horrific and sad these teens had a long lives ahead of them and had a lot of potential
