He's a big fat dude with explosive temper. I don't see him lasting past the end of November, but unfortunately it could be longer.
One frustrating thing with people who only casually follow fugitive stories is the average amount a time a fugitive is caught is usually within the year, but because of the internet age, they think they're supposed to be caught right away. It doesn't work that way. These are people trying to actively not be found and people need to be patient. If they're not a moron, they will be hard to catch initially because of that but then they inevitably make a mistake.
I get Cardenas has technically been wanted for three years but he's new to the list. He's not hide and seek champion having only been on for a month.

Plus, Juarez-Corro was on the run for over a decade and after being added, he was caught within months.

I can reveal now I purposely said November knowing Cardenas would be profiled this week on In Pursuit, hoping I was creating good atmosphere for a direct capture lol. Hopefully the profile pays off.

I have hope he will get caught thanks to the show, as he’s only 1 of 2 most wanted list fugitives aired this season and he’s more recent than the other most wanted list fugitive, David Bonness.

One part of the profile of Cardenas tonight on In Pursuit that might be overlooked is the police officials interviewed seemed to sort of hint they believe he may be involved in other homicides. Not that the addition wasn't justified already, but that probably further hammers home the point.

A hit and run not long after the murder of Jubali Dumas, is what led to Cardenas getting identified, and law enforcement and even John Walsh emphasized that he’s a dangerous individual with local law enforcement in the gang task force saying wherever Cardenas was, there was violence.
The only new bit of information that came out from the segment, is that the part of the United States he was believed to have fled to was only stated as the southwestern U.S.

I remember when he was added to the list, the FBI implied he may have had information regarding other crimes. I’m almost wondering if he is sort of like an Antwon Mims criminal where he actually is a hitman for a particular gang.

I realize this sounds like me trying to save face but unlike Alejandro Castillo- where I truly thought he'd be a quick capture and was proven wrong- I didn't actually think Cardenas was definitely going to caught but was doing a superstition thing and trying to speak an In Pursuit direct capture into existence lol. Unfortunately, my voodoo trick didn't work- but I do feel he is recognizable but the problem is likely him hiding in Mexico and blending in. I have no information at the moment as to whether AMW will profile Cardenas this season or not.
