Authorities in Milwaukee are searching for the unidentified killer of R&B singer Yolanda "La La" Brown and her boyfriend JeTannue "Kool Aid" Clayborn. AMW aired this case in 2010.
Clayborn ran Loud Enuff Productions and was at his studio with Brown on Oct 19, 2007. That's when someone walked into the studio and shot both Brown and Clayborn to death. Surveillance video captured one of the victims opening the studio door for the killer and two minutes later, the same person ran outside and disappeared. The only lead in this case is that days before the murder, someone broke into the studio and stole recording equipment.
Thoughts? Sadly this is going to be a tough case to solve. Investigators believe that because the killer was let into the studio, that one or both of the victims knew the killer. I don't know how good the surveillance video is but because no description of the killer has been released, I'm assuming the video wasn't that useful.
Found another site where a poster links to a blog on the close and also mentions the robbery motive and one other. That the burglars may have left behind something they forgot the first time. But the problem with that was no sign of forced entry. The site also claims reported that on the AMW airing, LaLa Brown told friends that she had been receiving death threats from an unidentified source just days before the murder. I remember the airing and it sounds vaguely familiar but I can't 100 percent confirm I remember it. It's a "random poster" on the internet just like us :), and the blog they posted to apparently took the story down, but it makes some sense that some strange stalker, or jealous lover or whatever would be sending death threats.

A suspect is in custody in this case. I want to wait for the official press conference before the suspect is named and hearing if there's any other suspects still at large before moving this case to the captures section:
I haven't ready any updates since the initial news. Right now all we know is a suspect has been arrested in connection to this case. Milwaukee police still haven't announced if this is the shooter, if this person was just involved, and if there are other involved. If they ever announce case closed I'll move it to the captures section. But for now there still seems to be a bit of mystery despite the arrest.
