During A Bible Story, The Truth Comes Out
Luis Armando Lima-Rivera is wanted out of Trenton, N.J. for sexually assaulting an 8-year-old child.
While living in a group home, cops say Lima-Rivera lured the child into the basement, where he sexually assaulted her.
Lima-Rivera attempted to quiet the child by bribing her with a single dollar. One day, while the child's mother read her a story from the Bible about how God created men and women, the child came forward with the heinous crime.
After detectives interviewed the mother and child, they discovered that several assaults had occurred. As a result, Lima-Rivera has been charged with six counts of aggravated sexual assault.
A Guatemalan, Lima-Rivera previously worked as a landscaper in a nursery. In the past, he has typically resided in boarding houses or group homes.
Thoughts? The charges were filed in August on 2009, and AMW aired the case in October 2009. Obviously they took this case pretty seriously to air it that quickly after the filing. Although one wonders if Lima-Rivera could have fled back to Guatemala or went to another country in Latin America, it seems there is also a good possibility that in order to finance his time on the run, he continued looking for landscaping jobs in the United States.

UPDATE: Although Lima-Rivera was confirmed as still at large at the time of the original posting (10/6/2014), four years have passed with no new updates that I could find online. As far as I can tell, Lima-Rivera is still wanted as of this update (7/22/2018) since I haven't found anything online suggesting otherwise. However, if anyone has any updates/proof-of-updates kno way or the other, please feel free to let us know.
