Authorities in now four states are trying to identify a very prolific and extremely dangerous bank robber that has caught national attention.
The AK-47 bandit strikes banks while wearing masks, vests and body armor. He has also been known to point his AK-47 assault rifle at terrified and crying children inside the banks. His first heist was committed on Feb 29, 2012 in Chino, California. After the robbery he fled and opened fire on a police officer who was patrolling the area, the officer was seriously wounded. He is believed to have been involved in two other heists in California in Mar 2012, only one of those was successful. On Jul 6, 2012, he struck in North Bend, Washington. Then on Nov 7, 2012, he struck in Rexburg, Idaho, this time he ordered customers and employees in the bank's vault.
Then for nearly two years, the serial bank robber was not known to be robbing banks. This was until Aug 22, 2014, when the FBI said he may have been involved in a robbery in Nebraska City, Nebraska. Investigators from Chino, California have flown out to Nebraska to assist in that investigation.
The robber is described as a white male, approximately 5'10, 180-220 lbs and between 25-40 years of age.

Thoughts? This is an extremely dangerous robber who has proven to be able to travel across the US, probably by using stolen vehicles. The gap between the robberies in 2012 and 2014 could be explained by him being in jail for an unrelated crime. This guy must be stopped before he ends up killing someone.
